📅 Teachers’ Day (5th September)
📍 Kirnahar
🏥 Organization: Spandan Foundation, Kirnahar, Birbhum
Teachers shape lives, inspire minds, and guide generations. To honor their invaluable contribution to society, Spandan Foundation, Kirnahar, observed Teachers’ Day with a meaningful and life-saving initiative — a voluntary blood donation camp dedicated to the respect and gratitude owed to our teachers.
🍁 Honouring Teachers Through Service
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the residence of respected teacher Arun Roy, a revered educator of Kirnahar. This initiative was a humble tribute to teachers, celebrating their legacy not just with words, but through an act of humanity.

🍁 Students Step Forward
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation primarily from students, both current and former, who came forward to donate blood selflessly. For many of them, this day marked a special milestone, as most donors donated blood for the very first time.
Their courage and willingness reflected the true values imparted by their teachers — compassion, responsibility, and service to society.
🍁 Camp Highlights
- 🩸 Total Blood Donors: 30
- 👩 Women Donors: 8
- 🌱 Special Gesture: Each donor was gifted a sapling as a symbol of life and hope
With the message “Plant Trees, Save Lives”, Spandan Foundation combined environmental awareness with humanitarian service, reminding everyone that protecting life takes many forms.
🍁 Driven by Students, Inspired by Teachers
What made this camp truly special was that it was entirely managed by former and present students, showcasing unity, leadership, and dedication. Their collective effort turned Teachers’ Day into a celebration of life, gratitude, and responsibility.
