✨ A heartfelt initiative supported by Spandan Foundation
Last Thursday marked the wedding anniversary of Mrs. Rima Devi and Mr. Monojit, residents of Bolpur. Though they currently live abroad, their hearts remain deeply connected to their homeland.
While they could have celebrated their special day in a lavish way abroad, they chose something far more meaningful. Instead of spending money on decorations or parties, they decided to use that amount to provide food and essential supplies for underprivileged children.
🌼 A Celebration Filled With Kindness
As they were unable to be present in person, they reached out to Spandan Foundation and entrusted us with the responsibility of celebrating their anniversary in a way that would bring joy to children in need.
Following their request, Spandan Foundation members — Pintu, Santu, and Suman — along with the couple’s parents, visited the Mirzapur Orphanage near Bolpur. There, they distributed monthly ration supplies to the children.
The smiles on the children’s faces turned the couple’s anniversary into a truly memorable and meaningful celebration.
