On Thursday, 4 April 2024, a meaningful and life‑saving initiative took place at Kirnahar. The Business Association, in collaboration with Kirnahar Spandan Foundation, organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp to address the growing shortage of blood during the summer season and the month of Ramadan.
With temperatures rising sharply and demand increasing, blood banks across the region have been facing an acute crisis. To bridge this gap, Spandan Foundation extended full support to the Business Association in conducting this important camp.
Highlights of the Blood Donation Camp
- Blood collection was carried out by Bolpur Blood Bank.
- Several donors actively participated, among whom seven individuals donated blood for the first time, marking a proud moment for the community.
- Spandan members who donated blood include:
- Ranadeb Das (Secretary)
- Krishna Gopal Mondal (President)
- Timna Roy Choudhury (Treasurer)
- Kanchan Bhattacharya
- Sarda Dutta
- And several other dedicated members.
Each donor was appreciated and congratulated for their kindness and humanity.

A Significant Milestone
This camp holds special importance because Bolpur Blood Bank began using their Blood Separation Unit for the first time through Spandan Foundation’s camp.
This means one unit of blood can now help multiple patients, benefiting a larger number of people.
Join the Movement
Spandan Foundation encourages everyone to come forward and organize blood donation camps to support local blood banks in this crucial time.
If you or your organization wishes to arrange a camp, Spandan Foundation will provide full support.
