World Environment Day 2023: Spandan Foundation’s Green Initiative

The alarming rise of global warming is not the result of a single cause—rather, it is the cumulative effect of decades of environmental neglect. Since the Industrial Revolution, the world has witnessed rapid expansion of factories, machines, and pollution. Alongside this, widespread deforestation driven by human greed and unchecked consumption has pushed our planet toward an ecological crisis. As forests shrink, the earth’s natural “lungs” weaken, resulting in increasing global temperatures and environmental instability.

To protect our planet and build environmental awareness, planting more trees has become one of the most urgent needs of our time. On 5th June, World Environment Day, Spandan Foundation proudly participates in this global movement by organizing tree‑planting activities every year.

Our members not only plant saplings—they also take responsibility for their growth and long-term care. This ensures that each plant becomes a strong, sustainable contributor to a greener future.

Through these initiatives, Spandan Foundation continues to work “In Search of Another World”, where nature and humanity coexist with harmony and respect.
