Humanity becomes meaningful when we stand beside someone in their most difficult moments. Yesterday, Spandan Foundation witnessed yet another inspiring example of compassion and responsibility when an urgent appeal for blood reached us.
A 25‑year‑old expectant mother, Soma Bhattacharya, residing in Falgram near Labhpur, was in immediate need of 2 units of AB+ blood. Without delay, Spandan Foundation’s Secretary Randev Das reached out to our member Mrinmoy Bhattacharya, who has always been an active and dedicated blood donor.
💉 Stepping Forward to Save a Life
True to his nature, Mrinmoy immediately agreed to donate. This was not his first time—he has donated blood multiple times before and continues to inspire others with his selflessness.
Along with him, his friend Alamgir Sheikh, who also has AB+ blood group, came forward willingly to donate and help the mother in need. Their generosity and courage made a real difference at a crucial moment.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to both of them for their noble act.
