Spandan Foundation has always worked tirelessly throughout the year to support emergency blood requirements—whether it is for critically ill patients, mothers in need during childbirth, children battling thalassemia, or individuals with rare blood groups. Our goal is simple: to help save lives whenever and wherever possible.
When a sudden shortage of blood was reported at Sian Blood Bank, an urgent appeal was made for voluntary blood donors. Responding wholeheartedly to this call, two organizations came forward to arrange voluntary blood donation camps in a mobile air‑conditioned (AC) blood donation bus:
- Kirnahar Muktangan Sports Association
- Jubutia SBI CSP Branch Staff Members
With their collective initiative, two blood donation camps were successfully organised on Thursday, 08.09.2022. Thanks to their support and the generosity of each donor, we were able to reduce the immediate blood crisis. Every contribution made a difference.
Spandan Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to the members of Kirnahar Muktangan Sports Association and Jubutia SBI CSP branch for their cooperation and commitment to this noble cause.
This initiative was also supported by FBDOI (WB) and Birbhum Volunteer Blood Donors Association, whose efforts helped ensure the smooth execution of the entire program.
