On the occasion of National Cancer Awareness Day, Spandan Foundation once again took a heartfelt step toward supporting individuals who are fighting one of the toughest battles of their lives.
For many cancer patients, the physical pain is only one part of the struggle. The emotional trauma—especially when hair loss begins during chemotherapy—often shakes confidence and spirit. Through hair donation, we try to bring back a small part of their lost dignity and help them smile again.
And today, three incredible women came forward as shining examples of humanity.
💖 Three Heroes of the Day — Hair Donation for Cancer Warriors
1. Bulti Mallik
📍 Kanchujore, Birbhum
Distance was no barrier for her. Following our guidance, she cut her hair herself and sent it directly to our address. Her contribution carries more love than words can express.
2. Aditi Mondal
📍 Kotasur (Bahara), Birbhum
Thanks to our Spandan members, Santu and Rana, Aditi’s donated hair was collected personally. Her thoughtful gesture will bring confidence to a mother who needs it most.
3. Lipika Das
📍 Bolpur, Birbhum
Lipika proved today that age is never a limitation when the heart wishes to help. She travelled all the way to Kirnahar to donate her hair in person. Her determination will inspire countless others.
