Recently, Spandan Foundation received another urgent blood donation request.
Mr. Samsul Haque (78), a resident of Khajuri, Burdwan, required AB+ blood for a critical hip joint surgery, which had come to a halt due to the unavailability of blood. His son immediately reached out to Spandan Foundation for help.
Without delay, Spandan Foundation contacted Mr. Mrinmoy Bhattacharya, who gladly came forward to donate blood. He went to Sian Hospital early in the morning and successfully donated blood, helping resume the life-saving surgery.
Mrinmoy Bhattacharya shared that during his own father’s illness, he had once faced a similar blood crisis. From that experience, he deeply understands that blood cannot be created by money or machines — it can only come from compassionate human beings. Inspired by this belief, he willingly stepped forward and also pledged to always be available in the future to save lives in critical situations.

Spandan Foundation expresses heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mrinmoy Bhattacharya for his selfless act and wishes him continued good health and well-being. We also sincerely pray for the speedy recovery of Mr. Samsul Haque.
Acts like these remind us that humanity still thrives — one donation, one life, one hope at a time.
