🎂 A Birthday Celebrated with Compassion
A child’s birthday is often imagined as a day filled with cakes, gifts, delicious food, and celebration with friends and family. But some families choose a different, more meaningful path — one that spreads joy beyond their own home.
On the auspicious day of Maha Saptami, Spandan Foundation had the privilege of standing beside such a wonderful family. Kumar Ghosh, a resident of Kirnahar and a dedicated member of Spandan Foundation, along with his wife Mita Ghosh, chose to celebrate the birthday of their beloved son Maitra in a truly special way.
Instead of a conventional celebration, they spent this precious day with many other children at Mirzapur Ashram, near Bolpur — sharing happiness, love, and togetherness.
