On Tuesday, 8th October 2024, during the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja Panchami, Spandan Foundation carried forward its annual tradition of spreading joy among children. Like every year, this year too, the Foundation distributed festive gift packages to children from Kirnahar and the surrounding villages who are in need of support.
🌼 New Clothes, Snacks & Saplings
Over 150 children received:
- ✨ New festive clothes
- 🍱 Tiffin packets
- 🌱 A plant sapling each
The purpose behind giving plant saplings is to inspire these young minds to understand the importance of the environment. The hope is that every child will plant their sapling, nurture it with care, and help it grow—just like a dear friend.
The smiles on the children’s faces lit up the event, turning it into a truly heartwarming celebration of love, equality, and togetherness. The gifts were distributed without any distinction of caste, creed, or religion—because compassion is universal.
