An Unforgettable Marketplace of Kindness on International Women’s Day

– A Special Initiative by Spandan Foundation

On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2024, the members of Kirnahar Spandan Foundation organised a unique humanitarian event—a free clothing marketplace, lovingly named “A Different Kind of Market.”

On 10th March 2024 (Sunday), our team reached Paharpur village, near Ahmadpur in Birbhum district, carrying over 2,500 usable, pre-loved garments collected from generous donors.

To our immense joy, more than 800 people—children, women, and the elderly—visited this free market. Everyone was encouraged to choose clothes according to their own needs and preferences. Seeing so many happy faces and satisfied families truly made the day special for all Spandan members.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated clean, usable clothing. Your thoughtful contributions reached people who genuinely needed them, and together we created a moment of dignity, warmth, and togetherness.

Important Notes for Next Year

We will organise this programme again next year.
📌 Collection of old usable clothes will begin after 10th October.
📌 Please donate only clean, usable clothing.
📌 Kindly avoid torn, damaged, or unusable garments.

Your continued support encourages us to keep serving those in need.

Stay well, stay healthy, and keep standing with Spandan Foundation.
